It was in 2012, I was in Tanzania for 14 days with my friend, choreographer Helle Fuglsang to produce and document a couple of dance shows in the slums of the suburbs. I encountered this little fella in the village of Kigamboni when we were rehearsing some dance with the locals in a private yard. The father of the house was a banana palm tree roof tiler - he would weave the crown leaves of the palm tree into roof tiles on the bare ground outside his house, while his son were playing cautiously around us 'muzungus' (white people). He had some skin condition that warranted this skin salvae, and after I took his photo he asked me for a coin for some candy. I didnt have any unfortunately, so our fixer gave him a couple of coins for me.

This photo is from a motorcycle trip with my father to Norway, which he loved. On our tour along the fjords on the west coast, we made a stop here in Numedal. We stayed for the night in a rented cottage, and I shot this photo of the landscape and the two ice fishers out on the ledge in the sunset.
This photo is a bit out of my usual style. I found this tableau under a railway intersection once in Århus, Denmark. It's a Barbie horse, almost ritualistically tortured and dismembered. Lying on the rough asphalt and shot with a flash, I just inverted the frame to make it look more surreal.
